Nearly 80% of Taiwanese Consumers are Willing to Start or Continue the Use of Online Delivery Services in the Future: MIC
March 10, 2023

About 78.1% of Taiwanese consumers said they are willing to start or continue the use of online delivery services in the future, according to MIC (Market Intelligence & Consulting Institute). MIC conducted one-month online survey in the fourth quarter of 2022 and collected 2,500 effective samples. "Based on our findings, consumers aged 18-35 have the highest tendency to start or continue the use of online delivery services, followed by those aged 26-34," according to Robin Hu, a senior analyst with MIC. On top of that, prices (such as discounts/e-coupons of online delivery service platforms), conveniences (such as travel time savings and delivery-to-the-door service), and low contact (such as contactless delivery and takeaway services) are three key factors that drive Taiwanese consumers to start or continue the use of online delivery services over the years, according to MIC.
