Global Communications Industry to Grow 15.7% to US$673.1 Billion in 2021: MIC
May 21, 2021

Global communications industry is estimated to grow 15.7% and reach US$673.1 billion in 2021, according to MIC (Market Intelligence & Consulting Institute), a major government think tank and IT research institute in Taiwan. “The growth is mainly attributed to the boost in the mobile device market and increasingly strong demand for 5G telecom equipment and datacenters, although the China-U.S. trade war continues to have its toll on the industry’s supply chains,” said Kay Chung, senior industry analyst at MIC.
