Global Wi-Fi Enabled Devices to See Promising Growth of 4.1% CAGR during 2018-2024, says MIC

The global Wi-Fi enabled devices market has been affected by the sloppy demand during the transition period of global smartphones but fueled by growing popularity of smart applications such as smart speakers, wearables, and connected TVs. Therefore, shipment volume of the global Wi-Fi enabled devices reached 3.05 billion units in 2019, up 2.6% year-on-year. “In the next few years, Wi-Fi enabled devices will continue to rely on the high adoption of smartphones, notebook PCs, broadband CPE,” said Chiau-Ling Tzeng, senior industry analyst at MIC. “It is estimated that the global Wi-Fi enabled market volume will reach 3.74 billion units by 2024, growing at a 4.1% CAGR (Compound Annual Growth Rate) during the period 2018-2024.”
