Global Semiconductor Market Expects 1.2% Year-on-Year Growth in 2020 Amid COVID-19: MIC

Amid COVID-19 pandemic, it is anticipated the global semiconductor market will still grow 1.2% year-on-year in 2020 although it may face a one-to-two quarter delay in demand recovery, according to MIC (Market Intelligence & Consulting Institute), a government think tank and IT research institute in Taipei. Coupled with the ongoing US-China trade war, this year is going to be the most challenging year for the IT industry to gain growth, despite the rising demand for 5G and high performance computing products
