ZTE announced on February 29, 2012 that the company has sealed an agreement with Etisalat Misr for the latter's wireless network expansion plan in Egypt, according to a press release by ZTE. The agreement is aimed to meet Etisalat Misr's forecasted capacity requirements. It is reported that the two companies also agree to further extend their mutual strategic cooperation in other areas, such as microwave transmission, core networks, power solutions, and value-added services.
