Samsung Electronics said on February 8, 2012 that the company plans to launch entry-level TVs in a bid to tap increasing demand for value-line products, Reuters reported. It is projected that Samsung's entry-level TV models will hit the market in one or two months. Samsung also released a high-end TV model, dubbed ES8000, on the same day. Featuring 3D, Internet connection, and voice, motion, and face recognition, the model will first be sold in Korean this weekend and worldwide in March 2012.
