NTT Com (NTT Communications) announced on February 1, 2012 that the company has completed the construction of its Singapore data center, according to a report by Japan Today. Dubbed Serangoon Data Center, the center is built to provide high power, low latency networks, as well as stable and secure infrastructure required for the financial service industry and enterprises to build their own private cloud. It is reported that NTT Com's data centers in Hong Kong, Tokyo, and Singapore are all located near stock exchanges aiming to provide the financial service industry with low latency networks.
