Fujitsu Network Communications was selected by AT&T as a supplier for its IP-base network, according to a January 31, 2012 report by Japan Today. As per the agreement, Fujitsu will provide optical and transport equipment for AT&T to expand and maintain the company's metropolitan and long-haul network infrastructure under the AT&T's Domain Supplier program launched in September 2009. It is reported that the two companies are still in talks over financial terms of the agreement.
