Foxconn confirmed that the company will start assembling iPad at its plant located at Jundiai, Sao Paulo state in December this year, according to an October 13, 2011 report by Reuters. Foxconn is still negotiating an expansion plan with the Brazilian government, according to the same source. It is reported that Foxconn plans to invest up to US$12 billion in the country in the next few years.
