Green Packet is reportedly in talks with TM (Telekom Malaysia) to offer HSBB (High Speed Broadband) services to P1's (Packet One) 4G subscribers, Malaysia Broadband News reported on August 16, 2011. Green Packet hopes that an MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) can be signed between P1 and TM by the end of 2011. Green Packet plans to expand its subscriber base from the current 338,000 to 450,000 by the end of this year. To achieve this goal, it is reported that Green Packet aims to deploy 1,600 base stations in Malaysia by year-end, and the company said that it has already constructed 1,083 sites so far, and another 900 sites are now in progress.
