Reliance Communications announced the introduction of its tablet PC selling at 12,999 rupees (US$286.9; US$1=45.3 rupees) in India, according to an August 9, 2011 report by Reuters. The tablet device is reported to be manufactured by ZTE and sold under Reliance's brand name. Running on Android 2.3 operating system, the tablet PC comes with a 7-inch touchscreen and supports 3G and Wi-Fi (Wireless Fidelity) connectivity, according to the same source.
