Lenovo to Release Three New Tablet PCs

Lenovo announced on July 20, 2011 that the company will launch three new tablet PCs worldwide, dubbed IdeaPad Tablet K1, ThinkPad Tablet, and IdeaPad Tablet P1, according to the Wall Street Journal. All of the three tablet devices adopt 10.1-inch touchscreens. The K1 model and ThinkPad Tablet, both running on Android Honeycomb, will be introduced in the US market in August and globally in the third quarter this year. The Windows 7-operated P1 model is slated to be released in the fourth quarter of 2011, targeting at home and office users. Starting price tags of Lenovo's three tablet devices are projected to be similar to Apple's iPad.
