China Telecom, Huawei Deploy End-to-End 100G WDM System in Jiangsu

Chinese telecom solution provider Huawei has
deployed an end-to-end 100G WDM (Wavelength Division Multiplexing) system for
China Telecom in Jiangsu Province, according to a press release by the company
on June 22, 2011. Through Huawei's system, China Telecom has set up an ultra-broadband
transport link between two major cities, Nanjing and Wuxi. It is expected that
Huawei's end-to-end solution will be able to facilitate the seamless
integration of bandwidth pool solutions while enabling transmission of hybrid
100G and 40G services between the two cities without the need for electrical
regenerators.
