Huawei and ictQATAR formed strategic partnership and signed an MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) on May 25, 2011, according to the Peninsula. As per the MOU, Huawei is expected to build a framework for startup companies to establish networking businesses at the newly-established ictQATAR incubation center. It is reported that the cooperation between Huawei and ictQATAR is aimed to help startup companies and SMBs (Small- and Medium-sized Businesses) by providing network connections and digital content exchanges in Qatar.
