LG Display is currently in talks with Hong Kong-listed TV and PC monitor manufacturer TPV Technology to set up a joint venture in Poland, according to a February 7, 2011 report by the Bloomberg. It is reported that the new JV will be dedicated to the manufacturing of LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) modules and TVs. LG Display aims to reduce production costs through the establishment of the JV. Financial details and production schedules are yet to be disclosed, according to Bloomberg again.
