Chinese telecom equipment supplier Huawei announced on November 18, 2010 that the company has entered into a frame contract with Polish mobile broadband operator Aero2 to deploy commercial LTE TDD (Long Term Evolution Time Division Duplex) network in Poland, according to a press release by Huawei. Operation of the LTE TDD network is slated for early 2011. It is reported that Huawei will provide Aero2 with its end-to-end LTE TDD/EPC (Evolved Packet Core) solutions. The new LTE TDD network is expected to allow Aero2's subscribers to enjoy ultra-speed data rates and high quality mobile broadband services, such as video call and mobile internet access.
