Microsoft to Open Microsoft China Cloud Innovation Center in Shanghai

Microsoft
announced on September 16, 2010 that the company will set up the Microsoft
China Cloud Innovation Center in Shanghai, according to the Commercial Times of
Taiwan. The announcement was made at the Greater China Region Cloud Partner
Summit. It is reported that the center will focus on product and technology
R&D, tailoring the cloud computing needs from the Chinese market. Microsoft
expects that through the establishment of the Microsoft China Cloud Innovation
Center, the company will be able to help customers, partners, and government
further enhance their global competitiveness, according to the same source.
