Toshiba to Roll Out New Android Tablet PC in Late 2010

Toshiba
announced on September 3, 2010 that the company plans to release its first
Android-powered tablet PC, dubbed the Folio 100, with an aim to expand the
company's presence in the tablet device market, according to the Wall Street
Journal. The Folio 100 is slated to hit the market at the end of 2010, with an
expected price tag of 399 Euros (US$505; US$1=0.79 Euros). With a 10.1-inch
multi-touch screen, the device features Google's Android operating system, a built-in
webcam, Adobe Flash, and Wi-Fi, according to the same source. It is reported that
the Folio 100 will to be sold in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
