Chimei Innolux to Add US$371 Mln Investment in China

Chimei Innolux announced on August 6, 2010 that its board of directors has
approved additional investments in the company's eight subsidiaries located in
China to expand LCM (Liquid Crystal Display Module) production, according to
the Apple Daily of Taiwan. The eight subsidiaries located in Chengdu, Nanhai,
Nanjing, Ningbo, Shanghai, and Xiamen are expected to receive a total fund of
US$371 million. It is reported that the investment project has been submitted to
Taiwan's Investment Commission under the Ministry of Economic Affairs, waiting
for government approval.
