WiMAX Development in Asia June 14-20

Indian telecom software provider Elitecore
Technologies recently announced that it has deployed ten WiMAX platforms in the
Asia-Pacific region and Eastern Europe, according to a June 18 report by
India's Business Standard. It is reported that Elitecore has rolled out 802.16e
and 802.16d WiMAX CSN (Connectivity Service Network) platforms in said regions
within a span of 18 months. Elitecore's solution includes a pre-integrated
WiMAX CSN platform, AAA (Authentication, Authorization, and Accounting), PCRF (Policy
and Charging Rules Function), BSS (Business Support System), customer care, and
OCS (Online Charging System). Both the complete solution and individual
standalone components are options available to the customers.
