With the closure of its Chinese plant, LG will outsource production of notebook and desktop PCs and focus on the design, R&D, and development of PCs. LG stated that the company has already outsourced some of its notebook PC models to contract manufacturers, and all of its desktop PC models have been outsourced, according to the same source.
