Foxconn Completes Injection of US$91.7 Mln into Czech Unit

Taiwanese EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services) provider Foxconn announced on November 21 the injection of US$91.7 million into its PC plant in Kutna Hora, Czech Republic, Taiwan's Economic Daily News reported. The money has been transferred to the Kutna Hora facility, which was set up in 2002 and mainly assembles PCs for HP and Acer. Counting in Foxconn second Czech plant, which was opened in 2007 and mainly manufactures LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) modules and PC components for Innolux initially, Foxconn currently has a total workforce of about 5,000 in the Czech Republic.
