Lianyungang of Jiangsu Province Sees Construction of LCD TV Plant

Gao Li International Investments of Hong Kong kicked off construction on a US$15 million LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) TV and monitor production facility in the Lianyungang Economic and Technological Development Zone, Jiansu Province on May 15, SinoCast reported.
Occupying an area of 13.3 hectares, the facility is slated for completion by year-end 2008 and is projected with a production capacity of 300,000 units annually. The facility is the first phase of Gao Li's six-phase high-tech project in Lianyungang. The overall project, expected to last over a period of six years, involves a total investment of US$60 million and an area of 26.7 hectares.
