Hynix Signs Up for Nanosys' M-TAP Program for NAND Flash Memory Collaboration

Korean memory maker Hynix Semiconductor has signed up for Nanosys' M-TAP (Memory Technology Access Program) for collaboration on NAND-based flash memory products, Nikkei Electronics Asia reported.
By enlisting in the program, Hynix agrees to leverage Nanosys' proprietary QDM (Quantum Dot Memory) technologies in its memory products, both for present and future generations. Hynix expects to benefit from the cost-effectiveness and high performance enabled by Nanosys' QDM solutions.
