Taiwan-based Ralink, a leading supplier of 802.11a/b/g/n chipsets, announced recently that it has become a partner of the Better by Design program initiated by AMD in January 2007.

The Better by Design program aims to help AMD's clients solve processor problems and offer technical support. Ralink has passed the tests required by the Better by Design, such as performance in transmission speed and service coverage. Ralink has also passed the QOS (Quality Operating System) test as well as compliance with Wi-Fi Alliance's 802.11n Draft 2.0 specification.
