Huawei, ZTE Obtain Afghan Telecom's Network Contracts

According to SinoCast China Business Daily News, Chinese telecom equipment suppliers ZTE and Huawei have been awarded four contracts altogether by Afghanistan's state-owned Afghan Telecom. Valued at US$10 million in combination, the four contracts involve mobile communications network improvement and fixed-line network expansion. ZTE and Huawei will provide Afghan Telecom with related technologies and equipment in this project.
