Truly Semiconductor Starts Small-sized TFT-LCD Panel Production

Chinese-language Private Economy News recently reported that China's Truly Semiconductor has started producing small-sized TFT-LCD (Thin Film Transistor - Liquid Crystal Display) panels, targeting four-inch and smaller custom products, such as automotive displays, portable media players, and high-end mobile phone displays. The US$300 million production line, located in Guangdong Province of China, is designed with a monthly capacity of 30,000 units, a goal that the company expects to reach in the fourth quarter of 2007.
