AUO Sets Up R&D Team for Capacitive Touchscreen Panels

Taiwan's Economic Daily News reported on June 12 that AUO has confirmed the establishment of an R&D team to develop capacitive touchscreen panels. Furthermore, AUO is expected to launch its capacitive touchscreen panel solution catering to iPhone application in the second half of 2007, according to the same report.
