AUO to Debut 65-inch HD LCD TV Panel

On June 6, AUO launched a 65-inch full HD (High-Definition) LCD TV panel. AUO's 65-inch LCD TV panel features HDTV 1920x1080 high resolution, ASPD 120Hz driving technology for motion blur reduction, AUO's own AMVA (Advanced Multidomain Vertical Alignment) superior wide-viewing angle technology, and HiColor saturation technology. The 65-inch panel, as the company claimed, is ready for commercialization and is scheduled to debut at Display Taiwan 2007, which will open from June 13 through 15. Mass production is expected to start in the third quarter of 2007.
