Matsushita, Changhong Reported to Team Up on PDP TV Business

Matsushita is reported to have started collaboration with China-based Changhong on PDP (Plasma Display Panel) TV business, according to China Business News. Matsushita has begun supplying 42-, 50-, and 65-inch PDP modules to Changhong. Moreover, according to the same report, Matsushita is expected to provide Changhong with 42-inch PDPs and modules featuring 1,366x768 resolution as well as compliance with China's national high-definition TV standard, starting in July 2007.
