Hisense Inaugurates European R&D Center in Netherlands

China's Xinhua News recently reported that, starting in May 2007, Qingdao-based FPD (Flat Panel Display) TV maker Hisense has begun operations at its European R&D center in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. According to the local press, Hisense's Eindhoven facility will operate with a staff of 25 within the first year, which is expected to grow to 75 people in due course.
