Korea-based LPL (LG.Philips LCD) recently unveiled a 14.1-inch, 4096-color flexible electronic paper display, with a size equivalent to that of A4 paper and a thickness of less than 300 micrometers. With a 180-degree viewing angle, LPL's electronic paper features less power consumption, better display quality, and stronger heat durability. Furthermore, by means of metal foil and plastic substrate rather than glass substrate, LPL manages to prevent panel deformation while bending the device.
