Sharp's No.2 8G Production Line to Begin Operations Ahead of Schedule

As a follow-up to an Asia Express dated January 4, 2006, Sharp announced on December 25 that its second 8G production line in Japan's Kameyama plant will start operation in January 2007, two months ahead of schedule. The company stated that this 8G production line will double the monthly LCD panel capacity to 30,000 sheets.
