Syntax-Brillian, LPL Further Extend Strategic Collaboration

Syntax-Brillian and LPL (LG.Philips LCD) have announced to extend their strategic LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) supply agreement through 2007 and collaborate on a future R&D office in Nanjing, China. LPL is estimated to provide approximately 700,000 LCD panels for Syntax-Brillian's Olevia LCD TVs in 2007. The joint R&D office will be set up in LPL's Nanjing LCD/LCM (LCD Module) factory and is expected to start operations in early 2007. Development of digital entertainment products based on LPL's technology is projected to be the focus of this joint effort.
