CMO's First 8G Plant to Debut in Taiwan by 2007

Taiwanese CMO's (Chi Mei Optoelectronics) first 8G facility, claimed to be the Taiwan's first, is currently under construction in the Kaohsiung Science Park. The new facility, which is expected to complete construction by 2007, is built for the production of 50-inch or larger TV panels. Details on new facility's mass production schedule have not yet been finalized.
