India to Postpone 3G Launch to Early 2008
November 03, 2006
The Economic Times in India reported that India will postpone the launch of commercial 3G services to early 2008. Due to the Ministry of Defence's tardiness in vacating the 45 MHz spectrum, 25 MHz of which are reserved for five 3G operators, the original launch schedule slated for the second half of 2007 will be further pushed back.
