Comlent Technology Develops World's First TD-SCDMA RFIC
November 03, 2006
Shanghai-based Comlent Technology announced it has been successful in developing the world's first TD-SCDMA (Time Division-Synchronous Code Division Multiple Access) RF (Radio Frequency) transceiver and ABB (Analog Baseband) chipset based on CMOS (Complementary Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor) technology. Code-named CL4020, Comlent's single-chip dual-band RF transceiver is compatible with baseband chips from Commit, T3G Technology, and Spreadtrum. Comlent will produce its TD-SCDMA RF transceiver chips using TSMC's 0.18-micro process technology.
