Huawei Reportedly to Sell Entire Stake in JV Huawei-3Com

According to Wall Street Journal, China's Huawei is likely to sell its 49% stake in Huawei-3Com, its Hangzhou-based joint venture with 3Com, due to product overlapping and limited profit margins. Current private-equity bidders in the running for Huawei's stake are Silver Lake Partners and Bain Capital, and the bid has ranged from US$1.5 billion to 2 billion.
