Motorola Debuts Mobile Phones Featuring EPD

Motorola recently announced that it has leveraged a low-power, super-slim EPD (Electrophoretic Display), also known as the e-paper, for its Motofone models, which will be shipped to emerging markets such as India and Brazial. This is the first time that a EPD is used in mobile phones. Motofones featuring a EPD are expected to begin mass production in late 2006.
