LG's Mexico PDP Module Plant Starts Operation

LG recently announced that its PDP (Plasma Display Panel) module plant, which is located in Mexico's Reynosa and has kicked off construction since early 2006, has begun operations on October 25. The new plant has an initial monthly capacity of 60,000 units, and is expected to further expand to 100,000 units. Other than this Mexican plant, LG has another three PDP module plants, which are located in Korea's Gumi, China's Beijing, and Poland's Mlawa.
