Intel Completes Construction of New Processor Facility in Chengdu

Intel has recently completed the second-phase expansion of its manufacturing facilities in Chengdu, China. This new facility, slated to start operations in 2007, comprises a 65-nanometer multi-core processor packaging and testing factory as well as a training and conference center. With the addition of this facility, Intel expects to increase the number of its Chengdu staff to 1300.
