Sharp Develops Triple-View LCDs

Japanese Sharp has developed the Triple Directional Viewing LCD, enabling viewers on the left, right, and center to see different images at the same time. With a proprietary parallax barrier, Sharp is able to split light in three directions on an ordinary TFT-LCD screen and produce three different images simultaneously. Such LCDs can fulfill multiple purposes during driving or be used in public places.
