Hitachi Unveils 4096-Color Electronic Paper Display

Hitachi unveiled a 4096-color electronic paper display at the Hitachi uValue Convention 2006, held in Tokyo on July 26-27. The company stated that this 13.1-inch electronic paper prototype has a resolution of 512x384 pixel, using a RGBW color filter. The company also stated that the new offering will be ready for commercialization in 2007.
