Taiwanese Kenmos' new facility in Ningbo, China, has completed construction and started operation. With an investment of US$30 million, the facility, which Kenmos started constructing in April 2005, will be primarily dedicated to production of backlight modules, mainly for use in LCD monitors. The facility will be capable of producing six million backlight modules annually, mainly for CMO's LCM plant in Ningbo, as CMO is one the company's main clients.
