Japan-based Chusei has invested US$31 million in an LCD TV venture in Wenzhou, China. An annual capacity of 200,000 to 300,000 units is expected following the completion of facility construction, which started in Wenzhou's Lucheng Featured Light Industrial Park in July 2006. The company expects that the facility's annual gross output value will be approximately 1.2 billion RMB (US$150 million; US$1 = 8 RMB).
