Pioneer to Build New PDP Production Line in Japan

According to the Asahi newspaper, Pioneer plans to set up a new PDP (Plasma Display Panel) production line in Japan. The company will invest approximately 20 billion Yen in the new facility, and construction on the plant is expected to start in the second half of the current fiscal year, which runs until March 2007.
