Dell's India Plant Reportedly to Be Operational by End of 2006

According to a report by Reuters News, Dell's proposed India plant is expected to be operational by the end of 2006. Though the location of the plant has not yet been specified, this manufacturing facility is expected to help shorten delivery time and cut logistics costs for shipments to the growing Indian market. The plant will manufacture both desktop and notebook PCs.
