Taiwan's Institute for Information Industry Opens Indian Software Center

Taiwan's Institute for Information Industry opened a software development center in Chennai, India on May 15, which will focus on networking, security, and embedded software. The center, located in the Olympia Technology Park, represents the first software partnership between Taiwan and India. On the Indian side, NASSCOM (National Association of Software and Service Companies) has been involved in this project. The center will have 60 employees by the end of 2006, and a target of 200 employees has been set for 2008.
