According to a Reuters News report, Chinese semiconductor company Grace has plans to increase its monthly production capacity from the current 25,000 wafers to 35,000 wafers. The added capacity will come online in 2006, and the company is reportedly to invest US$100 million to US$150 million for the expansion. A considerable part of the added production will be allocated to orders from US Cypress, with which Grace established a partnership in December 2005.
