An Asia Express article on March 3 stated that Samsung SDI has plans to build a fourth PDP production line with an investment of 500 billion Won, with production to start in the first half of 2007. Recently, the company officially announced its plans, stating that it will invest a total of 730 billion Won in the line, which will be located in Ulsan, Korea. The new production line will have an annual capacity of three million 42-inch PDPs, which will increase its total PDP capacity to 7.32 million units annually. Samsung SDI also said that the line would start manufacturing in May 2007.
